Teck Trek Alumnae Field Trip

Check out scenes from our latest field trip to Wakamatsu Farm with our Teck Trek Alumnae. During this field trip, girls performed water quality monitoring and were exposed  to land stewardship.  They used equipment to measure pH without using strips of indicator paper! Learning to measure the pH helped them to understand how it could effect ecosystems such as macroinvertebrates.  The girls thought that it was very informative but also fun.  We would like to thank the American River Conservancy for making this event possible! For future and past field trip events, check out the Tech Trek Alumnae tab in the menu.
